Architectural Project Manager
HMA Architecture Inc. is a small and well-established, full-service residential architecture firm located in Folsom, CA. Our firm specializes in designing high-end custom homes & estates, multi-family residences, and developer-based subdivisions throughout California and Nevada. We provide services from conceptual design through project construction completion working with homeowners, developers, and contractors. Known for our high attention to quality and detail along with our extensive understanding of the building process we have a built a reputation with many well know developers and custom home builders. We work at an extremely fast pace and have a large number of projects running simultaneously. We are currently working to expand and hire an individual to assist with our growth. We are looking for candidates that have a passion for residential architecture, have the ability to work with limited supervision, understand the complexities of working within a firm environment, and can provide significant guidance to our production staff. This position will report directly to firm principles and will be independently managing a production team consisting of six designers and draftspersons.

- Managing the schedules of production team.
- Managing the schedules of assigned projects.
- Work closely with clients, managing relationships and day to day individual project needs.
- Extensive quality control of production teamwork.
- Planning of future/upcoming projects prior to assignment of production staff.
- Work directly under company principles.
- Respond to client RFI’s with limited supervision.
- Attend on site meetings as requested by client.
- Attend project meetings with clients as requested.
- Working with multiple projects and clients at one time with limited supervision
- Must have 10+ years of RESIDENTIAL experience, candidates without Residential experience will not be considered
- Expert proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Products, and Adobe Products
- Extensive understanding of residential architectural services and contracts.
- Ability to independently resolve project challenges with high attention to detail
- Expert knowledge of local and state code requirements and ability to interface with authorities having jurisdictions.
- Extensive understanding of wood framed construction methods and principles.
- Extensive understanding of civil designs and grading plans
- Extensive understanding of structural engineering principles as related to wood framed construction.
- Demonstrated history of success in leading a team and managing multiple projects, including the ability to monitor, adjust and maintain scope, schedule and budget
